It’s really just a bit of crack at the end of the day get out to meet new people have a chat followed by sum light refreshments.

Leitrim Cycling Club: Update on 2nd Annual Tour de Breffni - Sportive - taking place on October 7th, 2012.
The 60k tour will follow last years route and entail a complete loop of Lough Allen, terrain is generally flat, with some small climbs. Takes in Drumshanbo, Dowra, Drumkeeran and returns Drumshanbo to Leitrim Village.
There is also a 100km and 140km so there is something for all Wheelers. More details on the Wheelers and Leitrim Cycling clubs facebook page.

The Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford
The 2012 Tour will be held on Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 August and is part of the An Post Series of five cycling events throughout Ireland in 2012.

There are four different routes of varying degrees of difficulty:
SATURDAY 25 AUGUST 2012 - ENTRY ON THE DAY ONLY FOR THE 10K
The Kelly Ten is a family event open to all. Over 1,000 cyclists of all ages took part in the 2011 Kelly Ten. This event takes place in Dungarvan, largely on a scenic cycle track taking in Abbeyside, Clonea and the Gold Coast.

The 50km Kelly Cruise is a gentle tester for those who spend a good bit of time in the saddle.

The 100km Kelly Heritage Route is a new route for 2012, ideal for the touring cyclists, this stunning route skirts the coast through Ring and Ardmore and then takes in the wonderful scenery along the River Blackwater through Knockanore, Lismore and Cappoquin.

The 160km Kelly Comeragh Challenge is the tough, tough, part of the tour and not for the faint
hearted. It includes three tough climbs, Powers the Pot, Mahon Falls & the Máma Road and is suitable for more experienced touring cyclists or those that have taken part in the 100k in previous years.
