Curlieu Wheelers wish to invite you to our Inaugural Audax.

200km/140km/60km
10km Family Spin
The Start location is at Results Gym Carrick Road Boyle County Roscommon.

Registration is on line at www.runireland.com and the registration fee is €20.
Sign in time for the 200km is 6.30 am till 7.30am. Sign in time for the 140km is 7.30am till 8.30am.
But once you have signed in for the 200km or 140km you can start your event)
Sign in time for the 60km is 8.30am-10.00am and start time is 10.00am. Family 10km starts at 12 noon

All cycling Ireland members must bring there current cycling Ireland membership cards on the day to sign in with.
If you are currently not a member of cycling Ireland you can sign a one day license for the day.

Refreshments will be served on the day after the event. Just remember this is an Audax event therefore under the Audax guidelines all participants much have high vis, lights and must be self sufficient on the day.(including water and food for the cycle). There will be light refreshments after the event.

Audax Rules:

1. Riders below the age of 18 must have parental consent.
2. During an event, each rider is considered to be on a private excursion and must obey all traffic regulations.
3. For night riding front and back lights are mandatory. Riders must also wear a reflective vest.
4. Each rider must be self-sufficient– following vehicles are prohibited and personal support may only be received at controls.
5. At the start of the ride, each rider will receive a card ( that must be stamped at each specified Connacht Gold Store highlighted on the route map) and a route map. Riders must follow the route and should return to the point where they left from before they deviate from it. There may be secret controls along the route.
6. Riders must get their cards stamped at each control along the route.
7. The time limits for 200km is 13hrs 30m
8. At the finish, each rider must sign their card and return it to the organiser for validation.

Although it is not explicitly stated in that set of ACP rules, the opening of control points is determined by the maximum allowed average pace of 30km/h, and the closing of controls by the minimum average pace of 15km/h
